- Please note that I use a WHOLE wing for each earring, as compared with some imported butterfly jewelry, where small pieces of the wing are punched to make small round or oval pieces, several per wing, often placed between two pieces of glass with a metal or sterling edge all around (not moisture proof).
- Earrings are on a French earring wire, sterling silver. See second photo for the reverse of the wing - we make them so that they can be reversed on the wire and worn both ways (Instructions included)
- If you have a specific butterfly you are looking for, to maybe match your current exhibit, please just let me know!)
- If you prefer not to take the time to choose individual butterflies, or wish to receive a bonus pair with your order, please also see our listing for a set of ''assorted'' earrings ''best sellers''. That way we choose what we are confident will sell for you, and you get a bonus item. Remember, we will always exchange any items that you wish, at no additional cost (other than shipping).
- Each package includes a card with instructions on how to reverse the earring, as well as this short story: Your unique piece of jewelry is made in California from real butterflies, raised on farms in Peru dedicated to conservation. They lived their full 20-day life cycle before being sent to collectors like us. Each butterfly's extraordinary beauty is preseved in crystal clear resin, lightweight and durable, so that you can enjoy wearing your piece every day.
